Church of St. Pankrat

Church of St. Pankrat

The church of St. Pankrat dates back to the 13th century and it is unique in Europe because of its architecture and origins. Therefore, it is one of the most important sites in Slovenia. The bell tower is separated from the church and is the only part of the former castle that has remained. The walls in the ground floor are three meters thick.
