Summer swimming pool of Slovenj Gradec is located next to the Sports centre. Two swimming pools are available in the sizes of 20 x 10 m with a depth from 1 m to 1,7 m, and 6 x 10 m with the depth of 0,4 m. On the location of the swimming pool there is also a summer refreshments bar and a beach volleyball court in the size of 16 x 8 m. The swimming pool is opened from the beginning of June until the end of August. 

The Sports centre Slovenj Gradec includes several outdoor sports facilities: the athletic stadium (8 tracks of 400 m and 6 tracks of 100 m with a tartan), a football stadium with a natural grass in the size of 100 x 65 m as well as the asphalt handball and basketball courts (also suitable for small football).

During the winter period, from the beginning of December until the end of February, an outdoor skating ring is set on the handball court of the sports centre in the size of 20 x 10 m. The skating rink has an installed system of an artifical cooling so the skating is possible in all weather conditions.

Kope ski resort is located on the most western and the highest part of Pohorje mountains, right above Slovenj Gradec. It's perfect for anybody, seeking for great skiing adventure.

A various terrain is offering quality skiing for beginners and also for more experienced skiers. With artificial snowing system we assure up to 100 skiing days. The ski resort has 6,5km of ski slopes on 1010 to 1542 m height above the sea level.You can use 6 ski lifts and a four-chairlift, ski-running lane, sleighing and walking paths.
